The Grand Launching of In Press Global
With the dry ice gimmick and cake cutting ceremony, In Press Global blog was officially launched on the 18th January 2017 at UiTM Shah Alam. Initiated by Dr. Sara Chinasamy, the lecturer of International Communication, In Press Global was aimed to be the platforms for postgraduate students to share their thoughts, exchange of ideas among the local and international readers. It also serves as a reliable source of information for students all around the world. The In Press Global was honoured to have the Dean of Faculty of Mass Communication and Media Studies, Prof. Dr. Azizul Halim Yahya to officiate this auspicious event. We were also fortunate for the event to be witnessed by our Deputy Dean of Academic, Dr. Massila Hamzah and lecturers from the faculty. A token of appreciation was presented to the dean in appreciation of his presence. The dean was very proud and overwhelmed by the launching of the event as it was the first event organized solely by the postgraduates. He aspires for the blog to be fully utilized and will be the platform for postgraduate to pen their thoughts and disperse information among the students that will definitely benefit new incoming postgraduate students and the faculty. Dr Sara Chinasamy also expressed her appreciation to the efforts and hard work shown by the postgraduate’s students and hope the blog will continue to grow and flourish and inadvertently create a culture among the students.
